A Passion for Coding

My Fascination and Journey with Coding stems from having a sick Childhood. Until the age of 7, I used to have to use Oxygen Tanks to breathe, as I was born prematurely, thus developing severe childhood asthma. I spent most of my time watching Discovery Turbo, Science, and National Geographic, which propagated my fascination with Technology. Whenever I wasn't Bedridden, I would tinker with our family Computer, an old pre-built Windows 98 system, from spending hours in MS Paint with my sibling to taking it apart and trying to put it back together. My First interaction with coding came when we upgraded to a Windows XP machine, and I wanted to run Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on it. Unfortunately, for little old me, our computer couldn't run it until I found a shady blog stating how to run it using scripts and the terminal. Long story Short, that was how I learned how to run Scripts, what a terminal was, and not to trust shady websites. I also learnt how to reinstall Windows after getting a virus, so a net positive overall. Over the years, my fascination and tinkering grew into making mods, 2d games, and apps to play with or for my friends, and finally led me to choose Software/Web Development as my life path.
